We are seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Laboratory Technician to join our clinical team and support accurate, timely diagnostic testing for our patients.

This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about laboratory science and patient care. The successful candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, maintain equipment, and ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples in line with established protocols
  • Prepare, collect, and handle specimens accurately and safely
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment following manufacturer guidelines
  • Document test results accurately in laboratory records and electronic systems
  • Support clinicians by providing timely, reliable, and accurate diagnostic results
  • Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
  • Participate actively in quality assurance and quality control activities, including validation and calibration
  • Assist in managing inventory of reagents, consumables, and laboratory supplies
  • Collaborate effectively with clinicians and other clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate test procedures and findings clearly to relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute ideas and support initiatives for continuous improvement of laboratory services

Qualifications
  • Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technician from an accredited institution
  • Strong foundation in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine with ability to perform and interpret routine diagnostic tests
  • Practical laboratory skills including specimen collection, handling, and reagent preparation
  • Experience with quality control procedures such as calibration, validation, and documentation
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment in line with safety standards
  • Current professional registration or eligibility with relevant regulatory bodies
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a professional approach to patients and colleagues
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical information at all times
  • Willingness to work scheduled shifts and participate in ongoing training and professional development
