Key Responsibilities- Collect, prepare, and process biological specimens including blood, tissue, and urine according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests using advanced diagnostic equipment and instrumentation.
- Accurately record test results, maintain comprehensive laboratory logs, and report findings promptly to attending physicians.
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory machinery and tools.
- Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols within the laboratory environment.
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents, notifying management of shortages proactively.
- Must possess a valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Minimum of a Diploma or Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Must reside in or be able to commute easily to Anthony Village, Lagos and its environs.
- Demonstrated ability to operate standard medical laboratory equipment accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with high attention to detail and data integrity.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare team.
