Troop Pharmacy, one of Africa's leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, is seeking a qualified and dynamic Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our professional team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing accurate diagnostic results that support our comprehensive retail pharmacy services and innovative online healthcare platform, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the laboratory.
- Manage inventory of laboratory reagents and supplies, reporting shortages proactively.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists, online medical specialists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnoses.
- Accurately record, document, and report test results using our digital healthcare management systems.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional medical ethics at all times.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Proven professional experience working in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of modern laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
