About the Role

We are currently looking for a talented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Laboratory and Diagnostics department, reporting directly to the Assistant Manager of Laboratory Services.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and analyze body fluids, tissues, and other substances to identify normal and abnormal medical findings.
- Perform advanced molecular diagnostics such as PCR using open and closed systems, alongside hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology tests.
- Ensure stringent quality control by running standards and controls, performing routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate critical and abnormal results promptly to supervisory personnel, physicians, and nursing staff.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and orderly work environment while interacting compassionately with patients and families.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a medical laboratory, clinic, or hospital setting.
- Valid certification from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) with a current practicing license.
- Demonstrated experience in molecular diagnostic techniques including PCR and infectious disease testing.
- Strong computer literacy and exceptional communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
