Kingsfield Diagnostic Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive, accurate, and prompt testing solutions across various pathology disciplines, helping healthcare providers improve patient care quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine laboratory investigations under appropriate supervision.
- Operate, clean, and maintain advanced laboratory equipment.
- Carry out quality-control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable diagnostic results.
- Record, document, and report laboratory findings accurately while maintaining proper inventory.
- Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety, infection prevention, and waste-disposal protocols.
- Assist with sample preparation and collaborate effectively with Medical Laboratory Scientists.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
- Relevant professional registration or licensing where applicable.
- Previous working experience in a medical laboratory environment is an advantage.
- Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
