We are currently looking for a results-driven Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring optimal plant efficiency, minimizing downtime, and executing high-standard engineering solutions that align with our commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain production equipment to ensure continuous and safe operational performance.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance using established checklists and equipment manuals.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure 100% availability and prevent operational delays.
- Deliver engineering improvement projects that enhance machinery efficiency and reliability.
- Generate comprehensive reports, including weekly preventive maintenance logs, equipment breakdown analyses, and monthly engineering KPI reports.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with proficiency in utilizing equipment manuals and maintenance checklists.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to maintain high equipment availability scores of at least 98% uptime per month.
