About the Role
AceRoyal Estates is a forward-thinking real estate development firm dedicated to bridging the housing deficit through innovative and affordable housing solutions aligned with UN sustainable development goals. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the mechanical and building services aspects of our residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency from design to handover.
Key Responsibilities- Design and supervise comprehensive plumbing, piping, water supply, drainage, and sewage systems across all active construction sites.
- Prepare, review, and optimize 2D and 3D mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
- Supervise the complete installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, mechanical ventilation, firefighting networks, and fire sprinkler installations.
- Conduct rigorous site inspections to guarantee adherence to approved engineering drawings, industry standards, and strict health and safety protocols.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), detailed material take-offs, and comprehensive technical specifications for procurement and budgeting.
- Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and project managers to manage MEP works from initial installation through final project handover.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc., B.Tech.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in Building Services and MEP construction within the real estate or construction industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in plumbing, drainage, HVAC systems, and general mechanical building services.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; working knowledge of Revit or BIM software is a distinct advantage.
- Extensive field experience in site supervision, contractor management, and quality assurance.
- Active professional membership with NSE, NIMechE, COREN, or equivalent bodies is highly desirable.
