Aster Bloom Academy, formerly known as Chuckler's Heights Montessori, is a premier private educational institution in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. We are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood, primary, and junior secondary education. As we transition to our permanent campus and expand our academic offerings to include JSS1 and JSS2 levels, we are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Mathematics Teachers to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with our curriculum standards
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and curiosity
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents
- Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies and learning materials to enhance comprehension
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent academic standards across all levels
- Participate in school activities and contribute to the holistic development of students
- Maintain comprehensive records of student performance and attendance
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification or certification (NCE, PGDE, or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at primary or junior secondary level
- Strong understanding of age-appropriate pedagogical approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
