About the Role
Tutor Time School (TTSE) is a top-tier, future-focused 21st Century Christian school located in Independence Layout, Enugu, Nigeria. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners across our Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Elementary curriculum. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for teaching, a strong grasp of mathematical concepts, and the ability to make learning engaging and accessible for children in a nurturing, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum
- Simplify complex mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies for young learners
- Assess, monitor, and track learner progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
- Incorporate digital tools and classroom technology to enhance the learning experience
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity
- Identify and support students who require additional help with Mathematics concepts
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to align lesson plans with the school's overall educational goals
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and classroom activities
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
- Foster confidence and a love for Mathematics among students through interactive and practical teaching methods
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven teaching experience, preferably at the Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or Elementary level
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics concepts, methodologies, and problem-solving strategies
- Proficiency in the use of digital tools and classroom technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan creative, engaging lessons tailored to young learners
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
