About the Role
WaterBrooks College, a premier institution delivering world-class educational services across pre-nursery, nursery, primary, college, and advanced levels, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Mathematics Teacher. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping academic excellence by delivering engaging lessons and ensuring our Senior Secondary School students achieve outstanding results in their UTME, WAEC, and NECO examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the Nigerian and West African secondary school curricula.
- Prepare senior secondary students thoroughly for external examinations including UTME, WAEC, and NECO with proven teaching strategies.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and school co-curricular activities.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc in Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional teaching certification (TRCN) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience teaching Mathematics at the Senior Secondary School level.
- Exceptional track record of preparing students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME with excellent pass rates.
- Strong command of modern pedagogical techniques and educational technology integration.
