About the Role
De Progressive Child Academy, a leading private educational institution in Dengi, Kanam Local Government Area, Plateau State, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join its academic team. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in line with the approved curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress and performance
- Create a positive, structured, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning
- Develop instructional materials and teaching aids to enhance student understanding
- Identify students' learning needs and provide appropriate support or remedial instruction
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration to improve academic outcomes
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans
- Uphold the academy's values of discipline, integrity, and academic excellence
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities as required
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science (BSc), or NCE with demonstrated teaching ability
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and secondary school curriculum
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying academic abilities
- Prior teaching experience is an added advantage

- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Dengi, Kanam LGA, Plateau State
