About the Role
Akintola Williams Deloitte, the oldest indigenous professional services firm in Nigeria, is seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director for Advisory Services Limited. In this executive capacity, you will define and execute the long-term strategic vision for the investment banking and financial advisory unit, positioning the firm as a definitive market leader through innovative offerings and high-value mandates.
Key Responsibilities- Lead deal origination and build a robust pipeline of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, restructuring, and strategic advisory mandates.
- Drive the long-term strategic vision for Advisory Services Limited in alignment with overall Group objectives.
- Provide senior-level client negotiations, strategic guidance, and final approval on transaction structures, valuations, and pricing.
- Oversee transaction execution from mandate award to closing, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Represent the firm in high-profile industry forums, investor discussions, and executive engagements to enhance market visibility.
- Manage strategic, operational, and financial risks while maintaining transparent reporting to the Group Managing Director.
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields; Master Degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIS, or equivalent are mandatory.
- 12 to 15+ years of extensive experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or corporate finance.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully closing high-value transactions and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
