About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a renowned and leading player in the beverage production industry, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Manager - Injection Molding to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient production of high-quality plastic bottles, ensuring optimal machine performance, and maintaining rigorous quality control standards across all operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage daily operations of the injection molding department to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Oversee the processing and manufacturing of PE, PET, and PP plastic bottles ensuring strict adherence to quality specifications.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot complex issues related to large injection molding machines.
- Implement proactive and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to monitor product standards and reduce material wastage.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate floor technicians and machine operators to enhance team productivity and workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of cognate experience in injection molding operations within a fast-moving consumer goods or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Extensive hands-on and maintenance experience with large-scale injection molding machines.
- In-depth technical knowledge of PE, PET, and PP plastic materials and processing parameters.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing factory teams.
