About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC is looking for a skilled and proactive Manager, Capacity to join our growing technology team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, analysis, and optimisation of our capacity infrastructure—including storage, networks, midrange systems, and mainframes—to meet business demands cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, analyse, and optimise capacity infrastructure to satisfy business demands efficiently and economically.
- Perform trend analysis and background evaluations to accurately forecast future capacity requirements.
- Manage capacity issues proactively by analysing past incidents and problems to prevent recurrence.
- Drive the optimisation of capacity utilisation through data-driven analysis and efficiency initiatives.
- Define specific capacity and performance monitoring, alerting thresholds, and service-level capacity plans.
- Deliver comprehensive capacity reports and metrics to support GTI functions and overall IT service management.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant infrastructure platform-specific certifications and capacity management tool certifications.
- ITIL Foundation V3/V4 certification will be an added advantage.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience as a capacity planner, system engineer, performance analyst, or information system modeller.
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis to characterise capacity usage and forecast future requirements.
