About the Role
Diya, Fatimilehin & Co, a leading real estate services firm with over 35 years of experience in property agency, property management, and valuation services, is seeking a skilled and proactive Management Surveyor to join its team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about property management and committed to delivering outstanding service to landlords and tenants alike.
As a Management Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors. You will play a key role in property inspections, tenancy management, rent reviews, and regulatory compliance, while upholding the firm's high standards of professionalism and client service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of properties efficiently and professionally
- Conduct periodic property inspections, inventories, and tenancy check-ins/outs
- Liaise with landlords and contractors to coordinate and resolve maintenance requests
- Manage rent reviews, arrears, and tenancy renewals
- Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and industry regulations
- Advise landlords on property condition and tenancy matters with transparent communication
- Implement approved procedures to maintain orderly and efficient workflow
- Coordinate portfolio activities and prepare periodic and annual performance reports
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Gather market intelligence to support strategic business operations
- Ensure all documentation is accurately completed and properly logged
- Manage residents courteously in line with the firm's client service standards
- Liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance with estate laws and regulatory obligations
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
- BSc. in Estate Management
- Certification or registration with relevant professional/regulatory bodies is an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in property management software and reporting tools is a plus
