About the Role
Baykins Place, a leading pharmaceutical and retail company, is recruiting a dedicated Maintenance Officer to ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a critical role for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining safe, functional, and efficient work environments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on company facilities, machinery, and equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical system faults
- Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and prepare comprehensive reports
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
- Coordinate with external technicians and equipment vendors as required
- Minimum qualification: OND, HND, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Valid driver's license is an advantage
- Willingness to undergo health and safety certifications
