About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading and reputable firm in the Nigerian beverage production industry, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Expert to join our technical team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in sustaining our high-volume production standards by ensuring all mechanical equipment operates at peak performance, minimizing downtime, and driving manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventative inspections of all mechanical equipment utilized in beverage production and facility operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical faults promptly to minimize production line downtime.
- Execute precise repairs, parts replacements, and overhauls on various production machinery independently.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure all mechanical operations strictly adhere to company safety standards, environmental policies, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize machinery performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience as a mechanical maintenance worker, specifically within a manufacturing or beverage production environment.
- Possession of a relevant degree, HND, or OND in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to independently carry out equipment inspections, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and major repairs.
- Deep familiarity with mechanical structures, industrial machinery standards, and safety protocols.
- Solid technical aptitude, hands-on mechanical skills, and extensive practical experience with automated production lines.
