About the Role
Extramileage Consults Limited, a leading full-service Human Resource Outsourcing company, is currently recruiting a professional and dedicated Lounge Cashier for one of our reputable standard lounge clients. In this role, you will be the face of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, security, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. We are looking for an honest, computer-literate individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting and possesses a strong commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily cash, POS, and electronic transactions with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
- Greet lounge guests warmly, process orders or bills promptly, and issue accurate receipts.
- Reconcile daily sales, cash drawers, and payment reports at the end of each shift.
- Maintain proper records of all financial transactions in accordance with company accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the floor and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Report any discrepancies, operational challenges, or security concerns to management immediately.
- Ensure the cash counter and surrounding workspace remain clean, organized, and secure at all times.
- Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as a cashier in a standard lounge, hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong computer literacy is non-negotiable, including proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent numerical skills with high attention to detail and absolute integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
