Monarch Techno Engineering Solutions (MTES) is looking for a skilled Loop Checker / Pre-Commissioning Technician to join our growing team of engineering professionals. Key Responsibilities- Perform loop checking and pre-commissioning activities for instrumentation and control systems
- Verify field instruments, wiring, and signal loops against P&IDs and I&C drawings
- Support calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment
- Work closely with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems to ensure proper functionality
- Review and interpret datasheets, specifications, and technical documentation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies during pre-commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and project requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of loop checks, test results, and punch list items
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project timelines and quality objectives
- Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Control & Automation, or related Engineering field
- 5–12+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Control within Oil & Gas or EPC projects
- Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA systems, field instruments, calibration, and loop checking
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, I&C drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
- Mandatory certifications: ISA/IEC 61511 (preferred) or relevant instrumentation certification
- First Aid & CPR certification
- H2S Alive certification
- Permit to Work (PTW) certification
- Basic Fire Fighting certification (preferred)
