About the Role
Chilis by Ebevande, a premier 24-hour service restaurant and lounge located in Ibadan, Oyo State, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lobby Host to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our guest experience, ensuring that all dining, lounge, and facility areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization. Key Responsibilities- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors across dining areas, lounges, and restrooms to quickly remove dirt, debris, and accidental spills.
- Sanitize counters, tables, and physical surfaces while dusting and polishing windowsills, fixtures, and furniture.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms on a regular schedule, ensuring they are consistently restocked with soap, paper towels, and essentials.
- Empty all trash and recycling receptacles safely, transporting waste promptly to designated disposal areas.
- Refill and restock customer-facing supplies, including napkins, cutleries, condiments, and station materials.
- Execute periodic deep cleaning duties, such as washing walls, clearing vents, and sanitizing specialized equipment on weekly or monthly schedules.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant certification in hospitality or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a cleaner, lobby attendant, or hospitality host within a restaurant, hotel, or lounge setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong knowledge of sanitation, health, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24-hour shift environment, including weekends and night shifts.
- Strong stamina and physical capability to handle lifting, standing, and active cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
