About the Role
PalmPay is expanding its financial services team and is looking for a dynamic Loan Sales Officer to join our Warri branch. This role is ideal for a sales-driven professional who is passionate about connecting individuals and businesses with valuable loan products while delivering excellent customer service.
As a Loan Sales Officer, you will play a critical role in driving loan sales growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring smooth loan processing from application to disbursement. You will work closely with the credit and operations teams to ensure compliance with lending policies while consistently meeting set sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and acquire new loan customers through field marketing, networking, and referrals
- Promote and sell PalmPay’s loan products to individuals and small businesses
- Conduct basic credit assessments and ensure accurate documentation of loan applications
- Follow up on loan disbursements and monitor repayment schedules
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and transactions
- Ensure full compliance with PalmPay’s credit policies and procedures
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any relevant discipline
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within banking, microfinance, or fintech
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven mindset with a genuine passion for sales
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Good understanding of the local market and business environment in Warri
