PalmPay is rapidly expanding its digital financial ecosystem and currently seeks a proactive and results-driven Loan Sales Officer to join our dynamic team in Abuja and Benue. Key Responsibilities- Identify, target, and acquire new loan customers through aggressive field marketing, direct outreach, and customer referrals.
- Promote, market, and sell PalmPay's competitive loan products to eligible individuals and small business owners.
- Conduct foundational credit assessments and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all loan applications.
- Monitor and manage the end-to-end loan lifecycle, following up diligently on disbursements and repayments.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all client interactions, portfolio metrics, and daily transactions.
- Ensure strict adherence to company credit policies, regulatory frameworks, and risk management procedures.
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build and nurture long-term professional relationships with clients to drive repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc in a relevant academic discipline.
- Proven professional experience in sales, business development, preferably within the banking, fintech, or microfinance sector.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills with a natural flair for closing deals.
- Highly target-driven, resilient, and motivated by performance incentives.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field as well as collaboratively within a regional team.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the local market, economy, and business environment in Abuja or Benue.
