About the Role
PalmPay is looking for a motivated and results-driven Loan Sales Officer to join our growing team in Abia. This role is ideal for a sales-savvy professional who thrives on meeting targets, building client relationships, and driving the adoption of innovative loan products within local communities and businesses.
As a Loan Sales Officer, you will play a key role in expanding PalmPay's loan customer base by identifying prospects, promoting loan products, and ensuring a seamless application and disbursement process. You will be at the forefront of our mission to deliver accessible, reliable, and value-driven financial services to millions of customers across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and acquire new loan customers through field marketing and referrals
- Promote and sell loan products to individuals and businesses within the assigned territory
- Conduct credit assessments and ensure accurate documentation of loan applications
- Follow up diligently on loan disbursements and repayments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions
- Ensure strict compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any relevant discipline
- Proven sales experience, preferably within banking, microfinance, or a related financial services environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Target-driven mindset with a genuine passion for sales
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Sound understanding of the local Abia market and business environment
