About the Role
Join Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, as a Loading Supervisor at our state-of-the-art Packing Plant in Lagos. This is a pivotal role responsible for orchestrating seamless loading operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency that Dangote is renowned for.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise all daily loading operations to ensure optimal productivity
- Verify product quantities, specifications, and dispatch documentation before loading commences
- Monitor loading activities to prevent product loss, damage, or discrepancies
- Ensure trucks are loaded accurately and dispatched on schedule
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate loading and dispatch records
- Oversee forklift and loading equipment utilization and maintenance
- Liaise effectively with warehouse, production, transport, and security teams
- Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies and safe loading procedures
- Report operational issues, delays, and discrepancies promptly to management
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping and organization standards in the loading area
- Minimum HND or B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related discipline
- 1–3 years' proven experience in loading, dispatch, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Experience in manufacturing or refinery environments is preferred
- Demonstrated experience supervising loading activities and coordinating dispatch operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with keen attention to detail
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE policies and safe work practices
