About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic Legal Associate to join our Abuja office on a hybrid contract basis.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in court and participate in professional stakeholder meetings as required.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, legal documents, and pleadings.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulatory frameworks across technology, energy, infrastructure, and finance sectors.
- Prepare comprehensive legal memoranda, opinions, and client briefings.
- Support both litigation and transactional teams while ensuring strict compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
- Contribute to the firm's knowledge management and process improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree in LLB and successful completion of the Nigerian Law School (BL).
- At least 2 years of active post-call experience in corporate, commercial, or finance-related practice areas.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve diverse legal issues across commercial and regulatory matters.
- Exceptional legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a high standard of professional ethics.
- Proficiency in utilizing legal technology tools, document management systems, and standard office software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment while managing multiple deadlines.
