About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer II in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and tutorials in Medical Laboratory Science courses.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and laboratory manuals in line with regulatory standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, laboratory practicals, and academic field training.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as well as academic events.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the advancement of medical laboratory science.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance to students to support their holistic development.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related relevant specialization from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must possess current professional practicing license and valid registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching, professional laboratory practice, or academic research experience.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student-mentoring skills.
