We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated academic professional to join our Department of Biomedical Technology as a Lecturer II.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Biomedical Technology and related courses to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional aids to meet current academic and industry standards.
- Conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, laboratory experiments, and academic research activities.
- Participate in student academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance.
- Contribute to departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Maintain accurate student records, grade assessments, and foster an inclusive, interactive learning environment.
- Possess a Master's degree in Biomedical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching, research, or professional industry experience.
- A Ph.D. or ongoing doctoral registration in a relevant field will be a strong added advantage.
- Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals is highly desirable.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and digital teaching technology skills.
