Key Responsibilities- Collect, sort, and wash hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry items according to established schedules.
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect all items for stains, tears, or damage both before and after the washing process.
- Fold, stack, and store clean laundry neatly in designated housekeeping storage areas.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the laundry work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance needs promptly to management.
- Ensure the proper handling of cleaning chemicals in strict adherence to hotel safety standards.
- Assist with regular inventory management of laundry supplies, detergents, and linens.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service for any special guest laundry requests.
- Previous professional experience in laundry operations, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated ability to operate commercial laundry and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to hygiene and cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable team player possessing good interpersonal and communication skills.
