About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Laundry Personnel to join our support services team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all hospital linens, patient wear, and staff uniforms are impeccably laundered and readily available, contributing directly to our strict infection control standards and overall patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Wash, dry, iron, and professionally arrange hospital linen, patient gowns, uniforms, and other essential laundry items.
- Collect and sort used linen daily, ensuring strict separation between clean and soiled items to prevent cross-contamination.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure that clean linen is promptly distributed and available when needed by various hospital departments.
- Keep the laundry room, machinery, and designated work areas immaculately clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Strictly adhere to the hospital's hygiene, safety, and infection prevention protocols when handling biohazard or heavily soiled materials.
- Inspect linens for damage and promptly report any faulty equipment or operational issues to management.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Previous professional experience working in a laundry facility, hotel, or healthcare environment will be a distinct advantage.
- Must be exceptionally neat, organized, hardworking, and reliable.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and readiness to support other hospital departments as needed.
