About the Role
First Treebones Hotel & Resort, a premier luxury hospitality destination located in Umuahia, Abia State, is currently finalizing preparations for its grand opening. Founded by esteemed real estate developer and businessman Mr. Steven Ukpabi, our resort is dedicated to delivering world-class guest experiences. We are seeking hardworking, professional, and well-mannered Laundry Attendants to ensure our linens, guest garments, and resort textiles meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron all hotel linens, uniforms, towels, and guest laundry efficiently.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and tear, routing them for repair or discard as necessary.
- Operate and maintain commercial washing machines, dryers, pressing equipment, and irons safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with housekeeping and front office teams to ensure a steady supply of fresh linens for guests.
- Handle guest laundry requests promptly, ensuring accurate tagging, billing, and timely delivery.
- Possession of relevant educational qualifications or professional certification in hospitality or a related field.
- Previous experience working as a laundry attendant in a hotel, resort, or commercial laundry facility is a distinct advantage.
- Must be hardworking, highly organized, and possess a strong attention to detail.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor with excellent manners and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with laundry operations.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Umuahia, Abia State.
