District 9 Branded Residences (Velmonti Palace) is Abuja's upcoming landmark ultra-luxury destination, and we are opening our doors for world-class hospitality talent! We are currently seeking a meticulous and passionate Landscape Attendant to join our esteemed estate management team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating breathtaking first impressions by maintaining our immaculate lawns, vibrant gardens, and sophisticated outdoor spaces to the highest international standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine groundskeeping duties including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and weeding flower beds.
- Plant and cultivate new flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property.
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and irrigation systems.
- Monitor and report any plant diseases, pest infestations, or structural landscape issues to management promptly.
- Ensure all pathways, patios, parking areas, and outdoor amenities are free from debris, litter, and fallen leaves.
- Water plants and lawns according to a scheduled regimen and adjust systems based on weather conditions.
- Assist with seasonal planting changes and outdoor decor setup for special events and VIP visits.
- Proven professional experience as a Landscape Attendant, Gardener, or in a similar grounds maintenance role.
- Basic knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and soil management techniques.
- Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance on standard landscaping equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining luxury standards of cleanliness and beauty.
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional, customer-friendly demeanor.
- Relevant vocational training, certifications, or qualifications in agriculture or horticulture are an added advantage.
