Utilizing advanced automation and high-tech laboratory equipment, our experienced team delivers prompt clinical biochemistry, immunology, haematology, and molecular biology results. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Laboratory Assistant to join our state-of-the-art facility in supporting our mission to improve patient care through efficient diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine laboratory investigations and sample preparation under appropriate supervision.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Carry out rigorous quality-control procedures to guarantee accurate and reliable diagnostic results.
- Record, document, and report laboratory findings accurately while maintaining proper inventory.
- Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety, infection prevention, and waste-disposal protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with Medical Laboratory Scientists and clinical teams.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and professional standards in line with organizational policies.
- Relevant professional registration or licensing where applicable in Nigeria.
- Previous laboratory experience in a clinical or diagnostic setting is a strong advantage.
- Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and highly attentive to detail.
