We are currently looking for a dedicated and meticulous Lab Technician to join our state-of-the-art laboratory and contribute to our high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, properly label, and safely store biological samples designated for diagnostic testing.
- Determine and perform precise laboratory tests required for thorough medical analysis and reporting.
- Record test data accurately, analyze findings, and compile comprehensive reports for attending physicians.
- Discuss and answer clinical questions regarding test results with doctors and medical staff.
- Organize and store samples in strict compliance with safety regulations to ensure personnel safety and sample integrity.
- Clean, maintain, and recalibrate laboratory equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed equipment maintenance records and accurate daily work logs.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on working experience in a recognized medical laboratory or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols, quality control procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical staff.
