About the Role
Fidelity Pension Managers Limited is seeking a detail-oriented IT Systems Audit and Information Security Officer to join our growing technology and risk management team. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, security, and reliability of our IT systems, as we continue to provide trusted pension management services to our clients across Nigeria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting IT audits, evaluating security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards. Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute IT audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, systems, and processes.
- Identify, evaluate, and report on IT risks, control gaps, and areas of non-compliance.
- Monitor and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the implementation of remediation plans.
- Ensure compliance with IT control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to strengthen system security and data protection measures.
- Review access controls, system configurations, and change management processes for adequacy.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the organization's IT risk management framework.
- B.Sc./HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5 years' experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, or Information Security.
- Knowledge of IT control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 is an added advantage.
