Rainbow Educational Services Limited (RESL), a premier education management company operating renowned institutions like Pampers Private School and Rainbow College, is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in empowering students and staff through reliable, cutting-edge technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide dependable technical support to academic and administrative staff, ensuring uninterrupted operation of all school IT systems and equipment.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, interactive projectors, printers, and other vital IT hardware.
- Manage robust computer networks, stable internet connectivity, and secure Wi-Fi systems across the school premises.
- Ensure data integrity and system security through routine data backups and proactive cybersecurity measures.
- Maintain and update operating systems, essential software, and enterprise-grade antivirus applications.
- Support the integration of digital learning platforms, educational software, and modern classroom technology tools.
- Monitor network infrastructure and resolve technical challenges swiftly to eliminate downtime.
- Manage the comprehensive IT inventory, tracking hardware assets and software licenses efficiently.
- Enforce institutional IT policies and train staff on best practices for digital tool utilization.
- Setup and maintain audiovisual equipment for classes, meetings, and major school events.
- B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong technical expertise in hardware troubleshooting, software configuration, and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of network administration, connectivity, and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with data protection laws, cybersecurity practices, and disaster recovery backups.
- Prior experience with School Management Systems or Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a strong advantage.
- Relevant professional IT certifications will be an added advantage.
