About the Role
White Soul Motors Ltd, a leading subsidiary of White Soul Investment Ltd with a 19-year track record of excellence in the automobile industry, is seeking a talented and proactive IT Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless business operations, and supporting our growing workforce both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, routers, firewalls, and both local and cloud-based network environments.
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding by managing user accounts, email distribution lists, and software licenses.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures, monitor potential threats, and manage regular data backups and disaster recovery protocols.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software while coordinating with external contractors and internet service providers.
- Keep detailed service logs, record configuration changes, and draft clear technical guides for internal staff.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1 to 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, and Windows Server.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with enterprise tools including Active Directory, Office 365, Google Workspace, and modern ticketing systems.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCITP, or CCNA are an added advantage.
