About the Role
Luxsit Integration Limited, a leading smart home solutions company based in the heart of Lagos, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inventory/Store Officer to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of goods, materials, and equipment that support our automation, audio/video, lighting, climate, and security installation projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and passionate about maintaining accurate inventory systems that keep our operations running efficiently.
As an Inventory/Store Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our project teams by ensuring materials are available, properly stored, and accurately documented at all times. You will work closely with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to maintain seamless stock control across our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor stock movement and reconcile physical inventory counts with database records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using ERP and inventory management software.
- Organize and manage warehouse space efficiently, ensuring safe storage and implementing security measures to prevent damage or theft.
- Generate daily and monthly reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and aging items.
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Support audits and stock-taking exercises as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is required.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in numerical tracking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with suppliers and staff.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift materials when necessary.
