We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our vibrant team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining seamless stock operations, optimizing storage systems, and ensuring accuracy across all inventory movements to support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, analyze stock trends, and generate comprehensive reports for management.
- Ensure all items are thoroughly inspected for quality both before dispatch and immediately upon return.
- Optimize warehouse storage systems to allow for easy access and efficient space utilization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for prompt delivery or customer pick-up.
- Regularly update the internal team on item availability, low stock levels, and potential shortages.
- Conduct routine inventory audits and coordinate timely maintenance or replacement of damaged items.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in inventory management within retail, FMCG, or other high-intensity environments, with rental business experience serving as a distinct advantage.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven proficiency in utilizing modern inventory management software and digital systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, work independently, and collaborate effectively across various departments.
