About the Role
iRecharge Tech-Innovations is a leading internet-powered distribution platform enabling users to seamlessly purchase virtual products and services such as airtime, mobile data, internet subscriptions, pay-TV, and Bulk SMS. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing our internal control systems across our innovative fintech operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits in line with the approved annual audit plan.
- Audit digital banking operations, payment systems, lending activities, treasury operations, and customer onboarding processes.
- Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and regulatory gaps, recommending appropriate corrective measures.
- Review compliance with CBN regulations, NDIC requirements, AML/CFT guidelines, IFRS, and internal company policies.
- Evaluate automated controls within core platforms and digital channels while preparing comprehensive audit reports.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and collaborate closely with Risk and Compliance teams.
- Support the development of internal audit frameworks and contribute to strengthening corporate governance structures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Active ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent professional qualification (CIBN certification is an added advantage).
- 3-5 years of relevant internal or external audit experience, preferably within the banking or fintech industry.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management, internal controls, CBN regulations, NDIC guidelines, and IFRS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern audit or data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical, investigative, report-writing, and problem-solving skills with a high level of integrity.
