About the Role
Pinnah Foods Limited is a dynamic restaurant chain operating 6 vibrant outlets across Lagos, featuring both ice-cream and Chinese restaurant brands alongside a central kitchen and supply chain network. We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to provide independent assurance, evaluate risk management, and optimize our operational and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive annual audit plans covering all headquarters departments, central kitchens, and QSR outlets.
- Perform surprise spot checks on cash handling, POS activities, inventory, procurement, and payroll to prevent revenue leakages.
- Conduct operational audits to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
- Investigate suspected fraud, inventory discrepancies, or policy breaches in close collaboration with the HR department.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to executive management.
- Monitor regulatory compliance across tax laws, health and safety standards, and employment regulations.
- Provide advisory support on internal controls during system upgrades, POS rollouts, and new process implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active ICAN or ACCA certification is strictly required; CIA certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of internal audit experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within retail, hospitality, or the QSR industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial ERPs, inventory software, and POS systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and fraud-detection skills with high ethical standards.
- Willingness to travel regularly to all company outlets across Lagos.
