About the Role
Monarch Techno Engineering Solutions (MTES) is looking for a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our growing team of professionals delivering top-tier engineering solutions across the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Engineering Design sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious industry projects while applying advanced technical expertise in instrumentation, control systems, and automation.
As an Instrumentation Engineer at MTES, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, safety, and reliability of instrumentation and control systems throughout project execution. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contribute to design and field activities, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety in every task.
Key Responsibilities- Review and interpret P&IDs, I&C drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications
- Design, install, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for Oil & Gas and EPC projects
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
- Conduct calibration, loop checking, and commissioning of field instruments
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and inspection records
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Support project execution from design through to commissioning and handover
- Promote and adhere to safe work practices at all project sites
- Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Control & Automation Engineering
- 5–12+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Control within Oil & Gas or EPC projects
- Proven expertise in DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
- Strong knowledge of field instruments, calibration, and loop checking procedures
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, I&C drawings, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
Mandatory Certifications:
- ISA/IEC 61511 (preferred) or relevant instrumentation certification
- First Aid & CPR
- H2S Alive
- Permit to Work (PTW)
- Basic Fire Fighting (preferred)
