We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and culturally grounded Igbo Teacher to inspire our students and foster a deep appreciation for the Igbo language, literature, and heritage.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive Igbo language lessons aligned with the approved school curriculum.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities among students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a vibrant, inclusive, and culturally enriching classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Promote moral values, discipline, and character formation in alignment with the core vision of Grandheights International School.
- Organize and participate in cultural events, debates, language clubs, and school co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, school management, and parents to support holistic student development.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification in Igbo Language, Education, Arts, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in a structured school environment is an added advantage.
- Deep fluency and comprehensive understanding of the Igbo language, grammar, traditions, and cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
