District 9 Branded Residences (Velmonti Palace), Abuja's upcoming landmark ultra-luxury destination, is opening its doors for world-class hospitality talent! We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Hygiene & Food Safety Manager to ensure the highest standards of sanitation, health, and regulatory compliance across all our food and beverage operations. In this critical role, you will champion our commitment to excellence, safeguarding the health of our esteemed guests and discerning residents through rigorous hygiene protocols and proactive staff training.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive food safety management systems based on HACCP principles across all kitchens, restaurants, and bars.
- Conduct daily and routine sanitation audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with international hygiene standards and Nigerian regulatory bodies.
- Design and deliver engaging food safety, sanitation, and hygiene training programs for all culinary, F&B service, and stewardship personnel.
- Monitor food receiving, storage, preparation, and temperature control procedures to prevent contamination and spoilage.
- Manage pest control programs, waste management systems, and chemical safety protocols within the hospitality environment.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and records of all safety audits, temperature logs, and corrective action reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in hygiene and food safety management within luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, or five-star hospitality establishments.
- Advanced HACCP certification and up-to-date knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate diverse teams.
