District 9 Branded Residences (Velmonti Palace) is Abuja's upcoming landmark ultra-luxury destination, and we are opening our doors for world-class hospitality talent! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Technician to join our elite maintenance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout our prestigious property, delivering an uncompromising standard of comfort for our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, chillers, air handling units, and refrigeration equipment across the luxury property.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance schedules to identify potential faults and ensure peak operational efficiency.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects using specialized testing equipment and execute prompt, effective corrective action.
- Monitor building management systems (BMS) to regulate temperature, humidity, and air quality parameters within optimal luxury hospitality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance metrics in compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond swiftly to emergency breakdown calls and coordinate with the broader facilities team to resolve issues with minimal guest disruption.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional HVAC maintenance experience, preferably within high-end hospitality, luxury residential, or corporate facilities.
- Relevant trade certification, diploma, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex commercial cooling systems, electrical circuits, and automated controls.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards and adherence to operational compliance protocols.
