About the Role
Hilton Worldwide is seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our engineering team in Nigeria. As a key player in our hospitality operations, you will ensure the optimal performance of our advanced heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, delivering an exceptional five-star experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain single-phase and three-phase refrigeration systems, electrical circuits, and control components.
- Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot large-scale water-cooled Trane chiller plants and BAC cooling towers.
- Install, modify, and maintain HVAC ductwork, insulation, cladding, and air distribution accessories.
- Maintain commercial refrigeration equipment including walk-in freezers, ice-making machines, and kitchen appliances.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns in critical hotel operational areas while ensuring minimal guest disruption.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment service records, and spare-parts inventories in compliance with safety standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in HVACR involving ductwork and commercial refrigeration maintenance.
- Technical certificate, diploma, or vocational training in refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical engineering.
- Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, motor starters, and HVAC controls.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments and refrigeration gauges safely and effectively.
