About the Role
Kejie's Hotels and Suites is a premier hospitality establishment located in Ikom, Cross River State, Nigeria. As we embark on a massive recruitment drive to expand our operations, we are currently seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Housekeeping Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout our hotel rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, and stationary daily.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and ensure all room fixtures are in proper working order.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to the housekeeping supervisor or management.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and lost-and-found items with utmost professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain a well-organized cleaning cart and ensure the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure swift room turnovers for incoming guests.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant academic qualification from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality cleaning services is an added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong physical stamina to handle demanding cleaning tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a welcoming, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ikom, Cross River State.
