Ben Silver Hotel and Suite, a conveniently located and affordable hospitality establishment in Agege, Lagos, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay. Situated at 12 Dele Ibidun Street, near Mulero Bus Stop, Agege, our hotel benefits from a strategic location just minutes away from major transit hubs, including the Ikeja Airport (MM1 and MM2), Iyana Ipaja transportation hub, and Agege railway station. This makes our hotel a preferred choice for both local and international travelers, and we are committed to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and service to match.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas to a high standard
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest amenities as required
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and hotel property
- Ensure guest rooms are prepared promptly for check-in and turned over efficiently after check-out
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and linen areas
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and special cleaning needs
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding safety, hygiene, and guest privacy
- Relevant experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Good time management and ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
- Basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed
