About the Role
The Borough Lagos is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness across our facilities. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that all assigned areas are consistently kept neat, safe, and presentable for staff, guests, and visitors. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a clean environment.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, dust, and thoroughly clean all designated indoor and outdoor areas.
- Maintain pristine hygiene standards across bathrooms, floors, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
- Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of all waste safely and appropriately.
- Handle cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish cleaning materials proactively.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, repairs needed, or supply shortages to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Perform additional housekeeping duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven professional housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of standard cleaning methods, products, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated traits of being hardworking, honest, trustworthy, and exceptionally detail-oriented.
