About the Role
The Borough Lagos is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dedicated team in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises. In this vital role, you will ensure that all designated areas are kept impeccably neat, sanitary, and presentable at all times, contributing significantly to a comfortable and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. We are looking for an industrious individual who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing across all assigned spaces.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain spotless bathrooms, floors, windows, mirrors, and various surfaces daily.
- Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste safely and hygienically in designated areas.
- Handle all cleaning chemicals, agents, and equipment safely in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries in a timely manner.
- Inspect spaces and promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or shortages of supplies to management.
- Uphold the highest possible standards of personal hygiene, workplace cleanliness, and safety.
- Perform other ancillary housekeeping duties and special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
- Minimum of an SSCE, WASSCE, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous professional experience in housekeeping, hospitality cleaning, or facility maintenance is an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of basic cleaning methods, sanitation techniques, and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately and work independently.
- Must possess high levels of integrity, honesty, reliability, physical fitness, and a keen eye for detail.
