About the Role
Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Hotel Security Personnel to maintain a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for our esteemed guests, employees, visitors, and property. In this role, you will be instrumental in preventing security incidents, responding promptly to emergencies, and upholding our high standards of hospitality safety.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol the hotel premises, entrances, parking areas, guest floors, and other designated zones regularly.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, security alarms, and access points to deter unauthorized entry.
- Prevent and detect theft, vandalism, and other security threats while safeguarding hotel property.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and fire alarms.
- Assist guests and employees with safety-related concerns while maintaining a visible, reassuring presence.
- Record and report all incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities accurately to management.
- Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, emergency exits, and firefighting equipment.
- Handle difficult or disruptive situations calmly, tactfully, and professionally.
- Minimum of an SSCE / WAEC qualification.
- Proven previous experience in hotel security, private security, or a similar role is a distinct advantage.
- Relevant security training or professional certifications will be strongly preferred.
- Physically fit, alert, and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Exceptional honesty, integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
